Race Results from 2hr mini-course
Points format for bike leg and trek leg. 7 flags on each map. About 2 miles for trekking and 6 miles mountain biking. Teams could start on either leg. But when they transitioned, they had to turn in their used map and passport. This forced teams to decide whether they wanted to retrieve all 7 flags on their map before transitioning, or to switch and grab more flags on the other leg. Unfortunately, the soft snow made it a bike slog. But the intrepid beginners pushed on. The waning light didn't help either. See the photo album....
